## The client

Positivo's legal team runs due diligence on companies and people against dozens of Brazilian public registries and internal systems. Checking a target meant working portal by portal, with no proof a source had actually been consulted.

## The problem

The sources range from open government APIs to captcha-gated portals. A landing page or an empty CSV proves nothing, so a "clean" result was unverifiable. Company targets also require expanding the corporate partner structure into person-level checks, which multiplies the manual work.

## What we built

A due diligence system that works through a manifest of 69 sources: public APIs, official datasets, automated browser flows with captcha handling, and authorized internal imports. Every run writes evidence artifacts. A strict rule governs results: a source only counts as checked through an official API response, a full official dataset, a structured authorized import, or a completed browser flow that searched the target and found nothing. Company runs expand corporate partners into person-level checks automatically, and access control and provenance are enforced across the platform.

## Outcomes

- 69 — mapped sources checked per due diligence run

## Key outcome

A result now carries proof of what was checked and how. "Nothing found" means the source was searched, not that a page loaded.
